Why Diaspora Engagement ?
LMICs face some of the world’s most complex health challenges, yet much of their talent lives abroad. This is the reality of brain drain: decades of conflict, instability, and limited opportunity have driven skilled professionals out of the region, leaving health systems under-resourced and overstretched.
Diaspora communities don’t leave their homelands behind. They carry their heritage, their networks, and their drive to give back.
While diaspora communities send billions in remittances annually, their knowledge and expertise, an equally powerful resource, are often untapped.
We’re changing that.
